Our President and Founder

Founded by Ali Ikram, ASIUMA reflects decades of hands-on leadership in governance, risk management, compliance, and internal audit. Ali is a CPA, CA and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) who has spent his career helping organizations strengthen control environments while enabling business growth.


Ali’s experience spans technology transformation, strategic program delivery, and the development of clear, effective communications and training. He has established and led high-performing teams across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, including hubs in Buenos Aires, Prague, Manila, and Philadelphia.

The Essence of ASIUMA

At its core, ASIUMA  is an acronym representing the immediate family members of our founder, those who provided the support, perspective, and encouragement that made the firm possible. They remain the champions behind our success and the values upon which ASIUMA was built.

The name also speaks directly to our work. Every organization, in pursuing its objectives and strategies, must consciously assume risk. Too often, that risk is poorly understood, informally managed, or addressed only after issues arise. ASIUMA exists to change that.
